Functional Medicine

Where Science Meets Whole-Person Healing

You’re not broken—and you’re not alone.

If you’re feeling dismissed, overwhelmed by symptoms, or stuck in a cycle of prescriptions without answers… it’s time for a new kind of care.

At our clinic, we use Functional Medicine to uncover the why behind your health struggles—then create a personalized roadmap to help you feel like yourself again. Root-cause healing starts here.

What Is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine is a forward-thinking, evidence-based approach that looks at how your body systems work together—not just in isolation. Instead of masking symptoms, we dig deep to discover what’s really going on beneath the surface.

We focus on you as a whole person, not a diagnosis. Using advanced lab testing, in-depth health histories, and personalized protocols, we help you address imbalances in your hormones, gut, metabolism, immune system, brain, and beyond.

This is medicine that listens. That partners. That empowers.

This is how healing was meant to feel.

Expert-Led Care You Can Trust

You’ll be guided by a nurse practitioner trained by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM)—the global leader in functional medicine education. With this advanced training, we combine the best of traditional and integrative medicine to offer care that’s deeply rooted in both science and compassion.

Whether you’ve been dealing with chronic symptoms for years or simply want to feel your best again—we’re here to help you get answers and take back control of your health.

Let’s Take the First Step—Together

You deserve a provider who listens, a plan that works, and care that’s curated just for you. Let’s partner together to restore your energy, balance your body, and reignite your confidence.

Functional medicine is a personalized, science-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms and chronic conditions. Instead of simply treating a diagnosis, we look at how your body systems are interconnected—so we can support healing from the inside out.

In functional medicine, we spend more time with you, explore your health history in-depth, use advanced testing, and create personalized care plans. We aim to resolve the root cause, not just suppress symptoms.

We offer advanced and comprehensive labs including hormone panels, stool testing, food sensitivity panels, micronutrient testing, cortisol/adrenal assessments, toxin exposure panels, metabolic and inflammatory markers, and more—based on your unique needs.

Functional medicine services are typically not covered by insurance due to the time, customization, and advanced testing involved. However, we provide superbills upon request that you may submit for possible reimbursement.

Your first visit includes a deep dive into your health story—your symptoms, lifestyle, environment, medical history, and goals. We use this information to identify patterns and potential root causes, and we’ll discuss initial recommendations and lab testing options.

Everyone’s timeline is different. Some patients begin noticing improvements within a few weeks, while others with more complex issues may take a few months. True healing takes time—but we’ll be with you every step of the way.

Yes! We offer convenient virtual consultations so you can receive expert functional medicine care from anywhere.

No—and we won’t expect you to. Our approach is about sustainable, step-by-step changes that fit your life and goals. This is about progress, not perfection.

Absolutely. We believe in collaborative care. Our goal is to complement your current care plan, not replace it. We’re happy to coordinate with your existing providers when needed.

We value transparency in the care we provide and want to ensure that you are fully informed about certain limitations that apply to patients residing in New York and California.

Due to state regulations and laboratory licensing restrictions, we are unable to directly order certain specialty and functional laboratory tests for patients who reside in New York or California.

  • If a specialty test is recommended as part of your treatment plan, we will discuss available alternatives, including:

    • Ordering through your primary care provider or another licensed provider in your state

    • Identifying in-state laboratories that may offer comparable testing

    • Utilizing at-home wellness testing options that are permitted under state law

At this time, we are unable to prescribe compounded sterile medications (such as certain GLP-1 medications for weight management) to patients residing in New York or California due to state-specific pharmacy regulations.

  • If you reside in one of these states, we will work with you to:

    • Explore FDA-approved commercially available alternatives that may be covered by your insurance or available through retail pharmacies

    • Provide recommendations for in-state providers who can prescribe compounded medications if appropriate

These limitations do not prevent us from providing you with:

  • Comprehensive telehealth visits

  • Medical consultations, wellness coaching, and non-restricted prescriptions

  • Preventive care recommendations and lifestyle support

  • Coordination of care with other licensed providers in your state
