I started Care by Alex because I saw a deep need for something modern healthcare often overlooks — time, attention, and truly personalized care. As a nurse practitioner, I spent years in fast-paced clinics where patients were rushed in and out, often without real answers. I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s when I began exploring functional and integrative medicine — and everything changed. I realized that by blending evidence-based practice with holistic tools like nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and advanced lab testing, we could get to the root of what was actually going on in the body. Not just treat symptoms, but truly heal.
